The Cave Shepherd Community Fund (CSCF) proudly sponsored the inaugural NFLP – FLITE Summer Experience, a transformative five-day financial literacy camp held from August 18–22, 2025, at the University of the West Indies, Solutions Centre, Cave Hill Campus.

Organized by the Ministry of Energy & Business under the National Financial Literacy Programme (NFLP), the FLITE Summer Experience welcomed 101 youth aged 15–18 for immersive workshops, mentorship, and entrepreneurial challenges designed to build financial confidence and leadership.
The sponsorship was split between programme expenses and participant prizes. Notably, CSCF awarded 10 Gifts of Mutual Fund Shares valued at $500 each to high-performing youth. These shares, invested in the Fortress Caribbean Growth Fund (FCGF), are locked in for one year, reinforcing the importance of long-term investing and financial discipline.
