We are proud to share that the Cave Shepherd Community Fund sponsored the Salvation Army’s annual Christmas Luncheon. Held on December 18, 2024, at the Salvation Army’s Reed Street HQ, this heartwarming event brought joy and festive cheer to many in our community.
In addition to our sponsorship, over 20 dedicated Cave Shepherd Group team members volunteered their time to set up tables and help serve the meal. Their efforts ensured that the event ran smoothly and that all attendees had a memorable experience.
This collaboration builds on a legacy that is very dear to us. Back in 2006, as part of our 100th anniversary celebrations, Cave Shepherd donated $100,000 to the Salvation Army which contributed towards building their state-of-the-art kitchen where 200 meals are prepared daily for those in need, including the special Christmas luncheon for 400+ persons including 75 Meals on Wheels. The Salvation Army is also a beneficiary of one of Cave Shepherd’s annual covenants.
We are honoured to contribute to such a meaningful cause and remain committed to making a positive impact in our community.
